The ADC estate comprises a mixture of F5 hardware and software versions including V4, V9, v10 and a minority of Cisco CSS devices. The scope of the whole project is well over 175 devices across 10 dataceneters distributed worldwide.

Solutions Delivered

ADCBOSS was used to migrate the configuration from the legacy F5 devices to new F5 devices (VIPRION devices running vCMP and standalone devices)
ADCBOSS was used to migrate the configuration from the legacy Cisco CSS devices to new F5 devices (VIPRION devices running vCMP and standalone devices)
ADCBOSS was used during the cutover of the traffic via the ARP management tool.

Business Benefits

Datacenter Migration was a total success and more than 175 devices were migrated to new kit with minimal disruption and incident free. It is calculated that performing the same migration based on a manual process could have taken more than 5 years. Using ADCBOSS the project was completed in  months.
